Optical Alignment
For many years, the standard method of alignment for many industries has been optical alignment. This technique is still preferred over laser alignment by many industries. There are many cases in which optical alignment is a better method than using a laser tracker. We frequent many rolling mills, paper mills, and steel mills with optical alignment equipment and because of the flexibility of theodolites, we can perform an alignment in a timely manner.
